Champion the Way:
Inspire a Brighter Future

Give now

An investment in our students is an investment in the future of Alberta. That’s the driving purpose behind our Open Doors – Open Minds campaign. We understand that our students’ drive to change their lives for the better through educational opportunities will be a key factor in reigniting our province’s economy, and we need your help to make that a reality!

Bow Valley College is prepared to deliver a transformational education that equips our learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to be employment-ready at the time of graduation in a dynamic and evolving economic landscape, and this mission is a community effort.

Thanks to the generosity of our leadership donors, we have already raised more than $25 million of the $35 million campaign total to date. As an Open Doors – Open Minds donor, you will help shape the future of education in Alberta by helping us remove barriers for students and ensuring they have access to resources such as valuable work-integrated learning opportunities, the latest technology and digital access, reliable, long-term financial supports and an affordable education.

How will my Open Doors – Open Minds gift be used?

The purpose of the Open Doors – Open Minds campaign is to ensure Bow Valley College’s legacy of removing barriers to education and making it accessible and affordable will continue for generations to come. We continuously evaluate how we are able to best serve the needs of our students and the province by providing employment-ready graduates in fields that will help reignite Alberta’s economy.

The campaign was built around three pillars we will invest in:

$2 million

Connect to Tech Fund

We will equip our students with the technology required to thrive in our virtual, integrated and online learning experiences.

$ 6 million

Economic Ignition Programs

We will continue to offer dynamic, responsive and innovative programs and teaching technologies that are relevant to the shifting landscape of Alberta’s economic landscape.

$ 27 million

Success Through Endowment Fund

Our ongoing mission of including all learners and removing barriers will continue through bursaries, awards and tuition support to ensure students are able to graduate and transition into the workforce.

However, as always, gifts can be designated to any of the existing funds that are used to support student success, including Financial Needs Bursaries, Barrier-Free Food Security Bursary and Soup Socials. If you have questions or would like assistance processing your donation, please feel free to contact us at invest@bowvalleycollege.ca

We are proud of our track record managing donor funds. In 2022-23, Bow Valley College raised $4,07 million with a fundraising cost of $0.25 for every dollar raised. 100% of all donor funds are directed towards students through bursaries, student awards, and other programs supporting student success.

Thank you for playing an important role and investing in the lives of our students and the legacy of Bow Valley College. Your gift helps ensure we can continue to change lives and strengthen our community.
